B&G TRAILER SALES is family owned and
operated by Georgette and Butch Burlingame and has been open for
business since early 1999. Butch and Georgette both come from farming
backgrounds and are avid trail riders. You may see them at a number of
trail riding destinations.
Prior to starting the trailer sales
business, they never seemed to keep their own trailers for long. Someone
would always seem to come along who “wanted the trailer more than they
did”, and, so, it would be sold and another bought. With Butch’s
trucking and trailering background, many people asked his advice with
regard to trucks and trailers and asked him to help them find the truck
and/or trailer that would work for them. Thus, the idea to start to a
trailer sales business was born. It’s been an enjoyable and interesting ride for them, and they look forward to many more years of helping
people find their trailers.
Located on NYS Route 34B on the line
between the towns of Dryden and Groton in central New York, they are a
quick easy drive from Interstate Route 81.
When you arrive at B&G Trailer Sales, you
will most likely be greeted by Micky, their blue heeler, who seems to
think everyone comes just to play with him. Then you’ll meet the rest of
the gang.
Their home-based business offers friendly, down-home service. They’ll
take one of their horses from the pasture and load it in a trailer for
you if you’d like. They can install a hitch or brake controller or
repair your trailer in their full-service shop.
